Saver Fan Finder Software for Windows (17Mb Download)

The Fan Finder program from Saver contains every variation of every product in the extensive Saver fan range.

It is a Windows® based application that is easy and quick to use. All the fans that meet the duty and pressure you have selected are displayed.

The order of the fans selected can be varied by one click of the mouse according to the criteria that you choose; this might be price, noise level, motor power, etc.

If you select silencers with the fan the program will revise your selection to adjust for the increased pressure.

You will find that the Fan Finder is particularly helpful if you are selecting axial flow fans. With this range there are so many selections it is impossible to display them clearly in catalogue format. It is therefore beneficial to use the Fan Finder software to find the best and most economic axial flow fan for your application. System Requirements

The installer uses Windows Installer version 2 which a some users with old PCs may have problems with. Windows XP and 2000 SP3 both include Windows Installer version 2, older versions of Windows use 1.1 or 1.2.

You will need to have the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) installed. Most systems will probably already have this installed but if not you can download it from here. If after starting Fan Selector the loading screen stops at 0% then this is a sign that you do not have MDAC installed. Some versions of MDAC can cause an error message "JAVAW caused an Invalid Page Fault" when you start Fan Selector, Microsoft have supplied a fix for this in the Jet 4.0 SP6 which can be downloaded from here. All the above mentioned downloads are also redistributed on the Fan Selector CD-ROM.

Any previous versions of the Fan Selector have to be uninstalled before installing the current version. You can do this through Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
